FORT WORTH, Texas --The Florida A&M offense put on a ball-movement clinic on the road Sunday, recording 16 assists on 22 made shots, but the Rattlers fell to the TCU Horned Frogs 80-56.
The Rattlers (3-7) had two players score in double figures, led by Jaquan Sanders, who had 16 points and five assists. Tyler Shirley added 13 points and Anquan Boldin Jr. added six points and two steals.
How It Happened
After falling behind 12-11, Florida A&M went on a 5-0 run with 10:32 left in the first half, culminating in a three from Sanders, to take a 16-12 lead. The Rattlers then maintained that lead and entered halftime with a 28-24 advantage. Florida A&M capitalized on seven TCU turnovers in the period, turning them into seven points on the other end of the floor.
TCU proceeded to take a 70-44 lead before Florida A&M went on a 5-0 run, finished off by Miles Ndalama's layup, to shrink the deficit to 70-49 with 3:43 to go in the contest. TCU responded and outscored the Rattlers the rest of the way, ending the game with a final score of 80-56.
