TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | Florida A&M volleyball team swept the competition in the FAMU Tournament presented by AT&T Dream in Black with victories over Southern, New Orleans, and Jacksonville. The latest decision – a 3-1 finish (25-21, 16-25, 25-16, 25-14) versus JU on Saturday (Sept. 7) – also extended the Rattlers' winning streak to four. Â

How It Happened
SET 1 | Â Florida A&M led by as many as eight points (24-16) before closing out the set.Â
SET 2 | FAMUÂ fell behind by as much as nine points as Jacksonville secured the lead for good at 5-4. The set was tied three times before the Dolphins ultimately took control.
SET 3 | The Rattlers struck first and maintained control throughout the set, securing a 25-16 win. They collected 18 kills with a .667 attack percentage without committing an attack error in the process.Â
SET 4 |Â FAMU secured the lead for good at 7-6.
Florida A&M will continue its non-conference schedule in the Cowgirl Classic at McNeese State.
