TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | Florida A&M volleyball (4-2) remained undefeated inside the Al Lawson Center in a 3-0 victory (25-11, 25-11, 26-24) over New Orleans Friday (Sept. 6). The win marked their second of the FAMU Tournament presented by AT&T Dream in Black and back-to-back sweeps.
SET ONE | The Rattlers were on the wrong end of a 3-0 start, but the disadvantage was short-lived with the help of a 9-1 run. FAMU never trailed again, finishing the set with a .400 hitting percentage and 19 kills.
SET TWO | With the exception of a 2-2 tie, FAMU was ahead the entire set. At one point, the team worked a 9-0 run en route to another 25-11 finish.
SET THREE | The third frame wasn't as decisive as the others, as the Rattlers had to overcome a seven-point deficit. They took their first lead late in the frame with the help of a 7-0 rally; however, the Privateers refused to surrender. The score sat knotted at 24-all before a net violation and London Hatch ace concluded the evening.

The FAMU Tournament presented by AT&T Dream in Black concludes Saturday. The Rattlers will meet Jacksonville at 2 p.m.
