NEW ORLEANS (Sept. 15) | The Florida A&M volleyball team (7-3) has faced New Orleans twice this season, and the result has been the same – a 3-0 win for the Rattlers.
Sunday's scores were: 25-21, 25-12, 25-21. The Rattlers were led by a double-double from Jada Rhodes; the senior outside hitter registered her second of the season on 10 kills and 10 digs.

» Rhodes also added a match-high four aces in the win.
» Kaila Todd had a match-high seven blocks; the Rattlers finished with 10.
» Florida A&M recieved a match-high 15 digs from Tinons Galmés.
» Makenzie Taylor recorded a match-high 17 assists.
SET ONE | UNO jumped out to an early 9-6 lead, but a 4-0 Rattler run, featuring two kills by Brooke Lynn Watts and two points by Rhodes, helped re-energize the visitors. The teams went back and forth over the next few possessions until an attacking error and kill by Isis Williams created separation. FAMU held its largest lead at 24-18.
SET TWO | The Rattlers were running on all cylinders in set two – a .533 hitting percentage, five aces, and four blocks. They had 23 points before the Privateers could break double digits.
SET THREE | The frame featured three early lead changes before FAMU took over for good at 7-6.
Next up: The Rattlers will compete in the Ragin' Cajuns Classics (Sept. 20-21), taking on Southeastern Louisiana, Louisiana, and Jacksonville State.
