LAKE CHARLES, La. | The Florida A&M volleyball team saw its five-match winning streak come to an end Saturday (Sept. 14) in a 3-0 loss (23-25, 23-25, 18-25) to McNeese State.

SET ONE | The Rattlers held an early lead (7-5) that they, unfortunately, could not sustain. SET TWO | The second set included 11 ties and five lead changes, with the final stalemate at 23-23. The Rattlers held their last lead at 17-16.

SET THREE | FAMU conceded the first point and, despite its efforts, couldn't gain the lead, finishing the set 25-18.

The Rattlers have one final stop on their Louisiana trip; they'll face New Orleans for the second time this season, this Sunday at 1 p.m.

FAMU went 1-1 in the Cowgirl Invitational – defeating Incarnate Word, 3-1, before Saturday's 3-0 setback.
