Rattlers finish eighth in Howard/San Francisco Intercollegiate

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –– The defending HBCU National Champions opened the new season in Maryland at the Manor Country Club and finished eighth in the 12-team field with a +34 through 54 holes.

The Rattlers also finished higher than the other HBCU schools participating in the event, as Howard (+38), Prairie View A&M (+77), and Alabama State (+98) finished ninth, 11th, and 12th.

The Rattlers saw an outstanding performance from returner Taylor Bell, who placed sixth in the player leaderboard with a -1 (209). Bell shot +1 (71), -2 (68), and E (70) in Maryland.
