ATLANTA | The Florida A&M volleyball team needed just three sets (25-22, 25-20, 25-18) to defeat Indiana State on Friday (Aug. 30). The win evened the Rattlers' record at 1-1 for the season-opening day, after they dropped a 3-0 decision to South Dakota State (25-21, 25-14, 25-19).

SET 2 | The Rattlers struck first and never trailed. They led by as many as six points, 15-9. FAMU's front row also put together a solid defensive performance, blocking five Indiana State attacks.
SET 3 | Powered by a strong performance on the attacking end, FAMU took set three, 25-18. The Rattlers put together a .560 attack percentage with 15 kills and, at one point, maintained a 21-12 advantage. The offense also received a boost from four aces.
