BATON ROUGE, La. | Breanna Brown-Marshall left the 2024 Southwestern Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships with three medals, gold (high jump), silver (4x100), and bronze (long jump); even more impressive, two of those performances rank amongst the best in the NCAA. For these reasons, the SWAC named the Florida A&M senior its Most Outstanding Field Performer on Sunday (May 5).

Brown-Marshall swept the high jump titles at the indoor and outdoor championships, and the latter effort (1.80 meters / 5' 10.75") ranks 22nd on the NCAA Division I Outdoor Qualifying List. The jumper also placed third overall in the LJ with a 5.85-meter leap (19' 2.5").

Further demonstrating that she's an accomplished track and field athlete, Brown-Marshall ran the second leg of the Rattlers' 4x1; the relay placed second with a season's best of 44.59. The time currently sits 68th in the nation.

Brown-Marshall's outdoor season should continue in the NCAA East Preliminaries (May 22-25), where the "Top 48" athletes in each individual event will look to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships (June 5-8). Athletes accepted into the first round will be announced by 1 p.m. on May 16.
