Granger and Williams combine for shutout in Florida A&M's 4-0 win over Bethune-Cookman

TALLAHASSEE, FL --Senior Caleb Granger and junior Cody Williams combined to throw a shutout on Friday as the Florida A&M Rattlers blanked the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats 4-0.

Granger (7-2) started and picked up the win for Florida A&M (23-21, 18-4), going seven shutout innings while giving up six hits, walking three, and striking out seven. Williams was dealing out of the bullpen as well, going two shutout innings, allowing one hit.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Rattlers took the lead for good in the second, scoring for the first time in the inning. Florida A&M scored twice, with one run coming across on freshman Josue Figueroa's single.

The Rattlers also added runs in the fourth and fifth innings on the way to the 4-0 victory.
