ATLANTA, Ga. --The Florida A&M Rattlers took a 3-1 lead into the seventh inning, but could not hang on and fell 9-3 to the Grambling Tigers Friday.
Senior Grant Harrison (1-3) came out of the bullpen for Florida A&M (29-26) and took the loss.
Offensively, the Rattlers were paced by senior Sebastian Greico, who went 1-for-4 on the day with a home run and three RBI. Junior Janmikell Bastardo put together a noteworthy performance at the dish as well, going 2-for-4.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Trailing 1-0, the Rattlers first put runs on the board in the sixth inning. Florida A&M scored three times, all of them coming across on a three-run homer off the bat of Greico. The Rattlers were unable to hold the lead, as Grambling scored eight times over the remaining three innings to grab the 9-3 win.
