JACKSON, Miss. --Junior Jacob Granger and junior Cody Williams combined to throw a shutout on Sunday as the Florida A&M Rattlers blanked the Jackson State Tigers 12-0.
Granger (4-2) started and picked up the win for Florida A&M (22-21, 17-4), going five shutout innings while giving up three hits, walking three, and striking out one. Williams was dealing out of the bullpen as well, going two shutout innings, allowing one hit.
Offensively, the Rattlers were led by senior Joseph Pierini, who went 3-for-4 on the day with a double, a home run and three RBI. Senior Evan Badger put together a noteworthy performance at the plate as well, going 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI. Senior Jalen Niles also contributed for Florida A&M, putting together three hits in three trips to the plate while adding a walk.

The Rattlers took the lead for good in the first, scoring for the first time in the inning. Florida A&M's offense started clicking and put up five runs, including a three-run double off the bat of Badger.
