Brown-Marshall Collects Win at East Coast Relays

The senior bested 19 others in the high jump event.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. | On the first day of the East Coast Relays, Breanna Brown-Marshall proved, once again, why she is one of the best high jumpers in the country. The Florida A&M senior currently ranks 23rd in the event, per the NCAA Division I Outdoor Qualifying List, and collected her fourth win of the season on Friday (April 26). The 1.75-meter performance bested 19 others. 
 
DJ Lawrence also posted a "Top 10" finish in the HJ event with a two-meter effort. Other notable performances included personal records posted by Dakya Cunningham (200 meters / 24.48), Isaiah Joseph (400-meter hurdles / 54.65), Lacie Deboskie (1500 meters / 4:53.70), Sierra Barrera (1500 meters / 5:07.71), and Kirk Dawkins (1500 meters / 4:01.48) alongside a season's best recorded by Jaydon Sanford (400-meter hurdles / 54.08). 
 
The meet resumes Saturday at 11 a.m.
