GAINESVILLE, Fla. | Florida A&M wrapped its appearance in the Tom Jones Memorial Invite with eight personal records and a pair of season's best. The track and field program also recorded four "Top 10" efforts, thanks, in part, to Kimeone McLeod, Tatianna Martinez, and Joseph DeRosier's standout performances on Saturday (April 13). The three took on 25-plus competitors in the 100 hurdles, 400, and 110 hurdles, respectively placing seventh, ninth, and eighth. 
 
McLeod finished her race in 13.87 and later took part in the 4x100 relay. 
 
FAMU's women excelled in the relay events, with the 4x100 (45.58) and 4x400 (3:41.35) each recording their fastest times of the season. Martinez ran the final leg of the 4x4 after finishing the 400-meter race in 55.08. 
 
On the men's side, DeRosier completed the 110-meter hurdle prelim in the eighth position with a time of 13.68. He advanced to the finals, which he finished in 13.92. 
 
The East Coast Relays (April 26-27) in Jacksonville, Fla., will serve as the Rattlers' final meet before the Southwest Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships (May 2-4).
