Tallahassee, FL --The Florida A&M Rattlers got three hits out of freshman Broedy Poppell in a 10-2 loss to the Ball State Cardinals Wednesday.
Senior Dallas Tease (0-1) started and took the loss on the mound for Florida A&M (5-7, ).
In addition to his three hits, Poppell had a home run and two RBI to lead the Rattlers.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Trailing 3-0, the Rattlers first put runs on the board in the third inning. Florida A&M plated two runs when Poppell left the yard with senior Ty Jackson aboard. The Rattlers were unable to get any closer, as Ball State added seven runs to their tally on the way to a 10-2 final.
