DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. --The Florida A&M Rattlers were not able to record a run against Bethune-Cookman pitcher junior Tanner Boccabello on Friday and were shut out 6-0 by the Wildcats.
Senior Caleb Granger (3-2) got the ball to start for Florida A&M (8-14, 3-1) and took the loss. The right-hander went six innings, giving up four runs, one earned, on seven hits, allowing no walks and striking out five.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Florida A&M managed zero chances with runners on third in the shutout, going a total of 0-for-5 with runners in scoring position. The Rattlers last got a runner on third in the eighth, when senior Adam Haidermota made it 90 feet away from scoring with one out.
