LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. --The Florida A&M Rattlers rallied from down 1-0 in the fifth inning to defeat the Grambling Tigers 2-1 Saturday.
Senior Caleb Granger (2-0) started on the mound and picked up the win for Florida A&M (5-5). The right-hander went six innings, giving up one run on three hits, allowing two walks and striking out seven.
Freshman Broedy Poppell led the way offensively for the Rattlers, going 1-for-3 in the ballgame with an RBI. Senior Sebastian Greico compiled a noteworthy performance at the plate as well, going 1-for-3 with an RBI.
