COLUMBIA, S.C. | Joseph DeRosier has stood atop the winner's podium twice this season, and both triumphs occurred in the 60-meter hurdles; the freshman recently swept the field in the prelim and final races at the South Carolina Invite Saturday (Feb. 3), representing the Florida A&M track and field program well for the top finish of the day. 
 
While in Columbia, the Rattlers captured three additional medalist performances  – Michael Crimbley II placed second in the triple jump (14.60 meters / 47' 10.75"), Tionna Brown raced in at third in the 200 meters (23.81), and Dajon Clark rounded off the impressive performances by finishing third in the long jump (7.19m / 23' 7.25"). 
 
Kimeone McLeod (60-meter hurdles / 8.35), Mia Heard (long jump / 5.65m / 18' 6.50"), DJ Lawrence (high jump / 2.01m / 6' 7"), and Jordyn Ash (triple jump / 11.57m / 37' 11.50") narrowly missed the podium in their respective events; however, Lawrence and McLeod walked away with new personal records. 
 
In their final preparation for the Southwestern Athletic Conference Track & Field Championships (February 17-18), the Rattlers are scheduled to compete in the Windy City Invite on February 9-10.
