TALLAHASSEE, FL --The Florida A&M men's basketball team shot 58.3 percent from beyond the arc on the way to a 76-58 victory against the Alabama A&M Bulldogs at home Monday.
The Rattlers (6-20, 4-11) had three players score in double figures, led by Keith Lamar, who had 29 points. Shannon Grant added 12 points and nine rebounds and Jordan Chatman helped out with 10 points, seven rebounds and two steals off of the bench.
Florida A&M's defense held Alabama A&M to only 15.4 percent shooting from beyond the arc. The Bulldogs did not have much luck cleaning up their misses on the offensive glass either, as they finished with nine offensive rebounds and managed five second chance points.
