Florida A&M records seven hits in 8-2 loss to #4 Florida State

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. --The Florida A&M Rattlers recorded seven hits on Sunday, falling to the No. 4 Florida State Seminoles 8-2 despite the efforts of senior Nyomi Jones, who went 1-for-4 with an RBI.

Sophomore Kayla Aldridge (0-1) started and took the loss in the circle for Florida A&M (0-5). Freshman Zoryana Hughes was a bright spot out of the bullpen, going two shutout innings while allowing one hit.

At the plate, the Rattlers were led by Jones, who went 1-for-4 on the day with an RBI. Senior Nyah Morgan put together a standout performance as well, going 1-for-2 with a double. Junior Kiauna Watson also contributed for Florida A&M, putting together two hits in four trips to the plate.
