TALLAHASSEE, Fla; --Five Rattlers scored in double digits, but Florida A&M fell to the Texas Southern Tigers 78-75 at home Saturday.
The Rattlers (4-17, 2-8) had five players score in double figures, led by Keith Lamar, who put together a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Jalen Speer tacked on 14 points and seven assists and Shannon Grant chipped in as well with 11 points and four assists.
Florida A&M shared the ball well in Saturday's game, racking up 20 assists on 29 made field goals. Speer's seven assists paced the Rattlers and Grant also chipped in with four assists of his own.

Texas Southern proceeded to take a 57-51 lead before Florida A&M went on a 5-0 run, finished off by K'Jei Parker's three, to shrink the deficit to 57-56 with 5:10 to go in the contest. The Rattlers rally continued as they outscored Texas Southern 6-5 the rest of the way to tie it at 62-62 and send the game to overtime. Florida A&M got out on the break in the period, scoring 11 fast break points.
Texas Southern then edged ahead in overtime, leaving Florida A&M behind 78-75 at the final buzzer.
