Thad Franklin Jr. earned national and conference recognition

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –– Florida A&M's running back Thad Franklin Jr. earned national and conference recognition after being named the Stats Perform HBCU+ National Player of the Week and the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Co-Offensive Player of the Week.

Franklin Jr. had a career game, rushing for 195 yards and three touchdowns. He also caught a pass for five yards to amass 200 all-purpose yards in the 41-38 win versus Bethune-Cookman. Franklin Jr. was also named the Florida Classic MVP.
