TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Oct. 27) |Â The Florida A&M volleyball team remains undefeated in both the Southwestern Athletic Conference (10-0) and at home (10-0), after defending both streaks with a decisive straight-set victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff (25-21, 25-18, 25-15).

The Rattlers return to the Al Lawson Center Monday night, playing host to Grambling State at 6 p.m.Â

GAME NOTES
- FAMU sits atop the SWAC standings as the only undefeated team in conference play.
- The Rattlers have recorded 14 straight-set wins this year, including nine straight against conference opponents.Â
- Iyonnie Sanford recorded a match-high 11 kills against UAPB.
- Jada Rhodes, the SWAC's reigning Player of the Year, added eight kills, four kills, and two assisted blocks.
- Tinons Galmés contributed a match-high 16 digs.Â
- Makenzie Taylor recorded a match-high 19 assists. Â
HOW IT HAPPENED
SET ONE | The Rattlers immediately set the tone, taking the first four points of the match behind three kills and a service ace. Despite a late push from the Golden Lions that brought them within one at 21-20, the Rattlers maintained control from start to finish.

SET TWO | FAMU and UAPB traded runs in a competitive start to the second set, but the Rattlers used theirs to pull ahead for good. The Golden Eagles held an early 4-0 lead, and Florida A&M led by as many as eight.

SET THREE | Sanford recorded the first point of the set to spark what turned into a 4-1 advantage.  The Rattlers led the entire way.Â
