TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | The Florida A&M volleyball team picked up its first Southwestern Athletic Conference win of the 2023 season in a straight-set decision (25-21, 25-17, 25-18) over Alabama A&M on Saturday (Sept. 23).

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Rattlers used a 5-1 run to break an 11-11 stalemate and cruised from there. De La Rosa's service ace earned the team its largest lead at 20-15.
SET 2 | Florida A&M continued the momentum from set one by earning a 25-17 victory in the second. The visitors hopped out to an early 4-2 edge, but it was short lived thanks to a 6-1 Rattler run. FAMU led from then on; its offense also received a boost from four aces.
SET 3 | FAMU led from the opening point, managing as much as a 10-point lead at 23-13 before closing out the set.
