CHARLESTON, S.C. | The Florida A&M volleyball team is returning home on a high note -- its first straight-set win of the season. The Rattlers were twice victorious in the Buccaneer Invitational with a 3-1 decision over the host Charleston Southern (Sept. 15) and a 3-0 score over South Carolina State (Sept. 16).
Iyonnie Sanford finished with a team-high 10 kills versus the Bulldogs. Defensively, the Rattlers had two players reach double figures in digs as Brooke Hudson posted 13 and Shelby Chamblin 11.

SET 2 | After their win in the first set, Florida A&M put themselves on the cusp of a sweep with a 25-15 victory in set number two. The Rattlers led from the opening point, hitting .313 over the course of the set. The FAMU offense also got a boost from seven aces in the stanza.
SET 3 | The Rattlers kicked off the final frame with a 5-0 rally and never looked back; they were closing in on 19 points while SC State remained in single digits.
