HUNTSVILLE, Ala. –– Florida A&M softball is coming off a weekend sweep versus Mississippi Valley last weekend and looks to keep their SWAC streak alive as they battle for first place in the East.
The Rattlers will travel to Huntsville, Ala., to face off against Alabama A&M and start with a doubleheader on Friday at noon Central and the second game to follow. The final game of the series will be on Saturday at noon.
In their last five games, the Rattlers have scored 38 runs with 117 at-bats. Nyah earned a home run, while Lauryn Peppers pitched eight strikeouts in seven innings against Mercer. The Rattlers also had a season-high of 11 stolen bases against Mississippi Valley last Friday.
The Bulldogs are 6-6 in conference play and lost 4-3 against the Rattlers in their matchup earlier this season in a non-conference game.
