TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –– Florida A&M baseball prepares for a three-game home series versus Jackson State beginning Thursday, April 6, at 5 p.m. Eastern after the series has been moved to Tallahassee due to inclement weather in Mississippi.

An explosive offensive output was not enough for the Rattlers on Tuesday. The Rattlers put up seven runs, but could not hold the Mercer Bears at bay and were bested 19-7. Senior Ty Hanchey led the way offensively for the Rattlers, going 2-for-4 in the ballgame with a home run and two RBI. Junior Joseph Pierini also compiled a standout performance at the dish, going 1-for-2 with a double, two walks, and three RBI. Junior Ty Jackson also helped out, going 1-for-3 for Florida A&M with two RBI.
