The Florida A&M Rattlers put together a valiant effort on Sunday, but ultimately came up short, losing to the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats by a 6-3. Junior Tre Simmons (1-3) started and took the loss on the mound for the Rattlers. Junior Joseph Pierini led the way offensively for the Rattlers, going 2-for-5 in the ballgame with a home run and an RBI. Junior Ty Jackson also furnished a noteworthy day at the plate, going 2-for-5 with a double. Sophomore Jalen Niles also chipped in, going 1-for-4 for the Rattlers with a double and an RBI. 

The Rattlers lost the series 1-2.
