BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Joseph Pierini for Hitter of the Week for his outstanding performance during this past week of non-conference play.
 
Hitter of the Week
Pierini was a key contributor during the Rattlers midweek series against Mercer as well as the Andre Dawson Classic. He combined for 13 at-bats, four runs, eight hits, four doubles, five RBI and a home run during this past week of competition.
