New Orleans, La. | Florida A&M baseball will head to the Bayou for the Annual Andre Dawson Classic. The Rattlers will take on Southern University on February 24 at 2 p.m. Eastern, University of New Orleans on February 25 at 2 p.m. Eastern, and Prairie View on February 26 at noon. The Contest against Southern will broadcast on MLB Network. 

The Classic will feature seven HBCU programs, with a slate of games the weekend of February 24th-26th in New Orleans, Louisiana.  

"We're honored to be in the tournament, especially because of the namesake of the tournament," said Florida A&M head coach Jamey Shouppe. "Andre's not only, obviously, a legendary baseball figure and a Hall of Famer, but a guy that walked the same campus that our players currently walk and practiced on some of the same fields that our guys practice on."
