BATON ROUGE, La. --Florida A&M put together a six-play, 69-yard drive, culminating in a 12-yard touchdown reception from Jamari Gassett with 2:44 left in the ballgame to give the Rattlers a 26-19 win over Southern on Saturday night at A.W. Mumford.
The Rattlers improved to 5-1 on the year and 4-0 in Southwestern Athletic Conference play, while the Jaguars fell to 2-3 and 2-1.
Jeremy Moussa led Florida A&M's passing attack with 325 yards through the air, tossing two touchdowns without throwing an interception.
Terrell Jennings led all Rattlers rushers with 34 yards in the contest, picking up 4.9 yards per carry. Kelvin Dean also added 15 yards on the ground.
