ITTA BENA, Miss. --Behind an impressive defensive showing that held the Mississippi Valley State ground attack to 82 rushing yards, Florida A&M took down the Delta Devils 31-7 on the road Saturday night.
The Rattlers improved to 4-1 on the year and 3-0 in Southwestern Athletic Conference play, while the Delta Devils fell to 0-4 and 0-1.
Jeremy Moussa led Florida A&M's passing attack with 155 yards through the air, tossing two touchdowns and two interceptions.
Kelvin Dean led all Rattlers rushers with 48 yards in the contest, picking up 6.9 yards per carry. Lelan Wilhoite also added 29 yards on the ground, averaging 9.7 yards per carry.
Kareem Burke reeled in two catches for 80 yards.
