Scouting The Rattlers
- The Rattlers offense has been getting better throughout the season, bringing in 405 total hits, 233 RBIs, 272 runs, 75 doubles, and 28 home runs. They also have a cumulative batting average of .265. The Rattlers have three different players with 20+ RBIs this season, as Grant Rowell (35), Adam Haidermota (23), and LJ Bryant (33) have driven in runs for the Rattlers.
- The Rattlers also have one of the best pitching staffs in the league, ranking fourth in the SWAC with a team ERA of .563 and an opposing batting average of .301 and 361 strikeouts. Hunter Viets leads all pitchers with 64 strikeouts.
Scouting The Hornets
- Corey King leads Alabama State in hitting with a .341 average, including eight doubles, three triples, and ten home runs team-leading. He has also driven in 41 runs and scored 43 more from the leadoff position.
- Hunter May is hitting .331 with a team-high 17 doubles and has five home runs, while Chris Lewis is hitting .317.
- Cristopher DeGuzman is hitting .308 with seven doubles and a pair of home runs.
- On the mound, Breon Pooler is 7-1 on the year with a 3.32 ERA, while Payton Harris is 3-2 with three saves and a 2.35 ERA out of the bullpen.
