Florida A&M Football Inks 12 on Wednesday, Brings Current Class Total to 20

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.| Florida A&M University head football coach Willie Simmons announced 19 student-athletes signed national letters of intent, on Wednesday, to continue their athletic careers at FAMU. Eight of the 19 signees committed to FAMU during the early signing period in December.
 
"It was a unique year because of COVID and because we didn't lose a senior class, we had to be creative in how we put this class together," said Simmons. "We're excited that it's all come together and we're ecstatic about this class and what they bring to our program."
 
The Rattlers loaded up on the defensive side of the ball with eight defensive linemen, three defensive backs and two linebackers.
 
Meanwhile on offense, FAMU added three offensive linemen, two wide receivers, one tight end and one quarterback.
