SANTA CLARA, Calif. | MJ Randolph set a new career-high with 31 points as the Rattlers dropped their second game in California, losing 80-66 to Santa Clara.
The Rattlers went into the half with a 40-34 point lead after going on a 7-5 run the final four minutes of the half. It only took the Broncos five and a half minutes to regain the lead, 46-45, as they went on a 12-3 run. From there, the Broncos never looked back, going on a 15-5 run to take an eleven-point lead. The Rattlers battled back, going on an 8-2 run to bring the game to five points, 63-58 with 7:15 left. Santa Clara would finish the game with a 17-8 run.
