HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | The Florida A&M volleyball team continues its dominance with their 17th sweep of the season to extend their record to 21-6 and 13-2 in SWAC play.
The Rattlers immediately put their feet to the pedal, taking an early 10-5 lead in the first set, and never looked back, winning 25-18. They dominated the second set holding Alabama A&M to only 8 points and finished them off in the third and final set 25-16.
Dominique Washington led the way for the Rattlers with 16 kills, followed by Karina Pressoir (6) and Irem Ucar (5).
Irem Ucar continued to set up her teammates, finishing with a game-high 37 assists. Dominique Turner proved to be the best defender with ten digs, followed by Jessa Long (9).
The Rattlers return to action tomorrow, November 14, at 5 p.m. Eastern for the conference finale at Alabama State before heading to Huntsville next weekend for the SWAC Championships.
