TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | Florida A&M University head baseball coach
Jamey Shouppe announced changes to the 2020 baseball schedule on Thursday afternoon.
Â
The Rattlers will now play a three-game series at Moore-Kittles Field against Eastern Illinois. The series begins with a noon doubleheader on Saturday and concludes with an 11 a.m. game on Sunday.
Â
Florida A&M was originally scheduled to play in the Jackie Robinson Tournament in Jackson, Miss. against Alcorn State, Jackson State and Southern this weekend, but heavy rain and flooding forced the cancellation of the tournament.

Â
The Panthers were set to face Faulkner on Friday, along with Oakland and Alabama State on Saturday before visiting Northwestern State for three games next weekend (Feb. 28-29).
Â
Florida A&M (1-2) is coming off back-to-back losses to Mercer after opening the season with its first-ever victory over South Florida in Tallahassee. Eastern Illinois (0-3) opened the season last weekend and was swept by seventh-ranked Arkansas.
Â
After the three-game home series against Eastern Illinois, Florida A&M will visit second-ranked Florida on Tuesday in Gainesville, Fla. The Rattlers return home to face off against Dayton for three games, beginning on Feb. 28.
