TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | The Florida A&M University football team finished the 2019 season ranked inside the Football Championship Subdivision Top 25 polls as the final rankings were released on Monday.

Florida A&M wrapped up a very successful season at 9-2, which was the best NCAA Division I record in the state as well as the best record in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC). During the 2019 season, the Rattlers went on a nine-game win streak and were named the Black College Sports Network National Champions.

FAMU finished No. 2 in the BOXTOROW HBCU Football Coaches Poll and HBCU Football Media Top 10 poll, as well as No. 2 in the Black College Football Poll, presented by the Power News Radio Network.

In the national polls, the Rattlers finished ranked No. 24 in the STATS FCS Poll and No. 25 in the FCS Coaches Top 25.
