TALLAHASSEE, Fla.
- FAMU head football coach Joe Taylor, will host his inaugural football camp on the campus of Florida A&M University on June 27-29. The camp will take place at the Rattler practice fields, Galimore-Powell Fieldhouse and Bragg Memorial Stadium.
The inaugural camp will host more than 150 young athletes (ages 10-18). Taylor, who guided the Rattlers to an 8-3 record in 2010, with six straight victories to end the season, won a share of the 2010 MEAC football championship. In his first three seasons at the helm, the Rattlers have won 25 games. That is more than any coach in school history has achieved in the first three years.
Taylor and his staff will provide instruction in the fundamentals of football, conditioning, health and safety, and leadership at the camp. On-site housing is available.
Campers are expected daily to bring their camp t-shirt, cleats and a bottle of water.
