On Taylor: An integral player on Florida A&M’s 2024 and 2025 SWAC Championship teams…named as the 2025 SWAC Tournament MVP…a two-time SWAC All-Tournament team selection in 2024 and 2025…enters her junior season with 1,121 career assists…a three-time SWAC Payer of the Week award winner.
At Florida A&M (2025): Played in all 31 matches for the SWAC Champions and NCAA Tournament participant Rattlers…named as the SWAC Tournament MVP as she averaged 44.0 assists (including her career-high of 50 in the semifinals against Alabama A&M), 10.7 digs (including 11 against Alabama State), and 3.0 kills (including three against Prairie View A&M)…two-time SWAC Player of the Week (setter)…one of only four Rattlers to play in 111 or more sets during the season…eclipsed the 1000 career assist mark against Prairie View A&M (Nov. 21)…ranked fourth SWAC in total assists (693) and third in the SWAC in assists per game (6.5)…led the Rattlers with a single-season career-high 693 assists and a 6.24 assists per game average…50 assists came against Alabama A&M (Nov. 22) in the SWAC Tournament…40 or more assists came five times (including twice in the SWAC Tournament) with 49 against Bethune-Cookman (Nov. 7), 41 against Alabama A&M (Nov 2), 42 at Prairie View A&M (Nov. 21) in the SWAC Tournament, 40 against Alabama State (Oct. 31) and 40 against Southern (Nov 23) in the SWAC Tournament championship game…30 or more assists came five times including 34 against Grambling (Oct. 27), 33 at Arkansas Pine Bluff (Oct. 26), 31 at Alcorn (Oct. 13), and 30 at Prairie View A&M (Oct. 26)…20 or more assists came six times including 29 at Mississippi Valley State (Sept. 28), 28 against Texas Southern (Oct. 19), 28 at Jackson State (Nov. 16), 26 against Mississippi Valley State (Nov. 14), 24 at Alabama A&M (Oct. 5), and 20 at Jacksonville (Sept. 20)…totaled a career-high 20 service aces with three coming against Arkansas Pine Bluff (Oct. 26).
At Florida A&M (2024): Helped led Florida A&M to the SWAC tournament and co-regular season championship titles…named to the SWAC All-Tournament team as the Rattlers defeated Grambling State (Nov. 22), Bethune-Cookman (Nov. 23), and Jackson State (Nov. 24) for three wins over three consecutive days to win the first of two SWAC championships in Taylor’s career…SWAC Player of the Week (newcomer) during her freshman season…saw action in 86 sets across 28 matches…contributed the second most assists making her Rattler teammates (428), averaging 4.98 assists per set…recorded 20+ assists in 10 matches and double figure assists in 21 games including a season-high 36 in the 3-1 win at Bethune-Cookman…20 or more assists came against with 36 at Bethune-Cookman (Nov. 8), 27 against Jackson State (Nov 15), 26 against Grambling (Nov. 22), 25 at North Florida (Sept. 4), 24 at Alabama State (Nov. 1), 22 against Incarnate Word (Sept. 13), 22 against Grambling (Oct. 28), 20 at Alabama A&M (Nov. 3), 20 at Georgia State (Aug. 31), 20 against Bethune-Cookman (Nov. 23)...totaled 89 digs with her season-high of eight coming against Grambling (Nov. 22) in the SWAC Tournament…five or more digs came against Grambling with eight, Bethune-Cookman with seven (Nov. 22), six each against Alabama State (Nov. 1) and Bethune-Cookman (Nov. 23), and five against Southern (Sept. 6), five against Arkansas Pine Bluff (Oct. 27)…totaled 18 digs in the Rattler’s three games in winning the SWAC Tournament which earned her All-Tournament team honor.
High School: Graduated from Mallard Creek High School in 2024…played on the Mallard Creek varsity for three seasons…played in 264 sets with 1,397 set assists and 332 kills during her prep career…NCISAA Girls All-State First-Team selection as a junior in 2022.
