Jordan Harris Headshot

Jordan Harris

Coach Gordon announced Jordan Harris to join her staff in October 2023.

Harris brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the women's basketball program. Harris served as the assistant director of basketball operations for the Women's National Basketball Association's Atlanta Dream from 2018-2021. While there, he assisted in planning and directing daily operations, hiring, training, managing staffing and budgets, and coordinating activities for home and away games. Harris also served as an assistant coach during the 2021 season. These were some of his most memorable times as he honed his skills by actively participating in daily coaching, staffing, and strategy meetings, developing players, assessing opposing players, and making recommendations for player recruitment.

Coach Harris has an unwavering approach, passion, and commitment to basketball and has trained and produced winning players at every level, including current and former WNBA/NBA players, overseas professionals, and players at the Division I and II levels.

His love for basketball was sparked early on, playing recreationally, and he has remained committed. Throughout his career, he has worked with several competitive AAU and traveling clubs, New Mexico Military Institute, Mcdonald's All-American Basketball Operations, Jr. NBA Basketball Program, Georgia State University men’s and women's basketball programs, the Atlanta Hawks, and the Atlanta Dream.

Harris played football at Alabama State University and Morehouse College, receiving numerous honors and Conference selections for his accomplishments. Harris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, Physical Education, Teaching, and Coaching from Georgia State University in 2018.

Outside of coaching, Harris is thoroughly involved with local youth programs. He has given back to his community and the sport he loves by establishing Recruitmenow101, an organization that connects often overlooked student-athletes with potential scholarship opportunities at colleges and universities. He also enjoys cooking and traveling.Â
