FAMU 2017: McKinley played 11 games in 2017, recording 31 total tackles (15 solos), with 1.5 tackles for loss, one interception and six pass breakups… He also led the team kickoff returns, with 21 runbacks for 510 yards, good for a 24.3-yard average, with a long runback of 44 yards.
FAMU 2016: McKinley came into his own in 2016, finishing with 38 tackles (26 solos), with four (4) interceptions for 108 return yards and one score…. He had five (5) tackles in four games, and against Delaware State, he had four tackles and two interceptions, one steal a pick six for 100 yards and the game-clinching score… He tied for third in the MEAC in interceptions with teammates Terry Jefferson and Jacques Bryant.
FAMU 2015: McKinley was pressed into service as a true freshman, finishing with 22 total tackles (18 solos), and three pass breakups…. He will be the likely starter at one corner for the Rattlers in 2016.
