@2017: Bowers played a full season in 2017, earning third team All-MEAC honors, rushing for 652 yards on 138 carries (both career highs), scoring six (6) touchdowns… He also had nine (9) pass receptions for 32 yards … He had three games of over 100 yards rushing, highlighted by a 141-yard efforts (24 carries) against Norfolk State (10-7-17); 115 yards on 21 carries against Savannah State (9-23-17), and 100 yards on 12 carries and two (2) touchdowns against North Carolina A&T (10-14-17).
@ 2016: Bowers led FAMU in rushing for the second straight year in 2016, despite missing four games to injury… Bowers finished with 400 yards net on 106 carries (3.8 yards per rush), scoring four touchdowns on the ground, while making 13 pass receptions for 111 yards (8.5 yards per catch), with two more scores… He also tossed a 27-yard TD on a halfback pass… Rushed for 120 yards on 12 carries, highlighted by a 70-yard scoring jaunt against Coastal Carolina (9-10-16)… He ran for 88 yards on 18 carries, while scoring twice as a pass receiver (3 for 47) in the home finale against Morgan State (11-12-16)…. Had 52 yards rushing and a TD on 24 carries against North Carolina Central (10-8-16), and rushed for a TD along with 42 yards on 14 carries , while catching five passes for 55 yards against Bethuune-Cookman (11-19-16).
@ 2015: This walk-on freshman took the Rattler ground game by storm in 2015, when he rushed for over 100 yards in a reserve role against Samford, highlighted by a scintillating 73-yard touchdown gallop… He finished the year with MVP honors in the Florida Blue Florida Classic after dashing through the rain for another 100-yard effort against Bethune-Cookman, netting a team-high 430 yards on 82 carries and two scores, while snagging 10 passes for another 38 yards….
