On Petty: A top receiver for first-year head coach Quinn Gray who has played in 35 career games at Tuskegee (two seasons) and Albany State (one season) and who is in his fourth season of collegiate football…has 80 career catches for 1,210 yards and seven touchdowns on his resume…an outstanding reiver on Albany State’s 2025 SIAC championship and NCAA Division II playoff participant team.
 
At Albany State (2025): Played in all 14 games for head coach Quinn Gray during his only season at Albany State…helped the Golden Rams finish with a 12-2 overall record, an SIAC championship, and a trip to the NCAA Division II playoffs…a leader at Albany State advanced to the regional finals of the NCAA Division II playoffs for the first time in school history…ranked fourth on the team with 26 catches for 389 yards and a single-season career-high three touchdowns…Albany State’s team leader with a 14.96 yards per reception average…tied for second on the team with his three touchdown receptions…his season-high of three receptions came against Shaw for 20 yards and a career-high two touchdowns (three yards and 17 yards scoring receptions) (Aug. 30), at Benedict for 52 yards and one touchdown (one six yard scoring touchdown), at Fort Valley State for 52 yards, ad against Benedict during the regular season for a season high 71 receiving yards…four catches for 37 yards in three NCAA Division II playoff games against Valdosta State (one catch for five yards) (Nov 22), one catch for nine yards against Benedict (Nov 29), and two catches for 23 yards against Newberry (Dec. 6).
 
At Georgia Southern (2024): A member of the team at Georgia Southern but did not play in any games…a redshirt season.
 
At Tuskegee (2023): Played in 11 games during his second season at Tuskegee…caught 30 passes for 508 yards and two touchdowns…Tuskegee’s second leading receiver with 30 a single-season career-high 30 receptions (second) for a career-high 507 yards (second) and two touchdowns which also tied him for second on the team in receiving touchdowns…averaged 16.9 yards per…totaled two 100-yard receiving games, 100 against Central State(OH) (Sept. 16), 102 against Morehouse (Oct. 7)…earned a career-long 71-yard catch against Morehouse…his 102 yards in receiving against Morehouse ranks as his career-high for a single game… his career-long 71 yard reception went for a touchdown in Tuskegee’s 40-28 win over Morehouse…a career-high tying five catches in three games: five for 48 yards against Lane (Sept. 23), five for 91 yards at Alabama A&M (Sept 30), and five for 59 yards at Miles (Nov. 4)…receiving touchdowns came in consecutive games against Morehouse (Oct. 7) and against Edward Waters (Oct. 14)
 
At Tuskegee (2022): Played in 11 games at Tuskegee during his true freshman season…caught 24 passes for 313 yards and one touchdown…caught a season-high five passes for a season-high 51 yards and one touchdown in Tuskegee’s 13-10 win at West Alabama (Sept. 17)…his first career touchdown in the second quarter tied the game at 10-10…Tuskegee gained the win on a fourth quarter field goal…second career touchdown on a 10 yard pass in overtime gave Tuskegee a 45-43 win at Clark Atlanta…totaled four catches for 43 yards in his career debut against Fort Valley State (Sept. 4)…also had four catches for 27 yards against Central State (Oct. 15)…multiple catches in six different games: five at West Alabama, four against Forth Valley State and Central State, three against Miles (Nov 5), and two each against Clark Atlanta (Oct. 1) and Morehouse (Oct. 8)…more than 40 yards receiving in four different games: 51 at West Alabama, 43 against Fort Valley State, 41 at Clark Atlanta, 40 at Allen (Sept. 24).
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Warner Robins High School in 2022…an all-region selection…totaled 31 catches for 604 yards as a senior…also had 42 tackles on defense…played basketball, volleyball and ran track as a versatile prep star…an uncle, Dantonio Burnette, played linebacker at NC State.
