Biography

Kante, who earned the 2012 MEAC Player of the Year honor, posted an unblemished 4-0 mark in conference play and an 18-2 overall record at the number one singles position. The senior finished with a 15-1 mark in doubles play to help the Rattlers win co-champion honors and the number one seed in the southern division.  Kante was also ranked No.16 in the NCAA Southeast region.

In addition to being named the 2012 MEAC Player of Year Kante, a 6-2 junior from Dakar Senegal, earned First Team All-MEAC Honors as he garnered an 17-5 record overall and 3-0 in conference play as he posted wins over Miami, Southern Methodist and Stetson University
