@ 2013-14: McCray played in 26 games, averaging 1.5 points and 1.5 rebounds… She scored seven points twice, at Troy (11-11-13) and Morgan State (3-3-14), while snagging a season-best five rebounds against Savannah State (2-3-14)…
@High School: McCray lettered in both track and field and basketball at Trinity Christian Academy in Lake Worth, Fla. She finished her senior season scoring 504 point (24.0 ppg), pulling 236 rebounds (11.24 rpg), 112 assists (5.33 apg), 87 steals (4.14 spg) and 128 blocks (6.09 bpg). In addition, she finished the season with 83 made three pointers to average 3.95 made three pointers per game. Also during her senior season of competition, McCray broke two school records as she set the new school record for most three pointer made in a season and most assists in a season.
McCray earned First Team Palm Beach and Sun Sentinel All-County Awards both her junior and season season…Named the Sun Sentinel FAB Five Best Player in the County…News Channel 12 Player of the Week…Reaped 3A All-State honors…
In the track and field, McCray broke the school record in the shot put and won first play in the shot put in the district meet.
@Personal: McCray was born on March 13, 1995 to Tanya and Luke McCray in West Palm Beach, Fla. She has two siblings Danielle and Taiyanna. Her sister Danielle is a member of the University of Mississippi women’s basketball team. She is member of Trinity Church International in West Palm Beach, Fla., where she volunteered with the church’s youth programs. McCray is currently majoring in Physical Therapy and enjoys shopping, playing volleyball, painting her nails and hanging out with her friends in her spare time.
