Biography

Tamar Fowler is an accomplished outside hitter from California.  She transferred into FAMU after spending two seasons with the CSU Bakersfield Roadrunners, where she played both indoor and sand volleyball.  The talented hitter adds immediate depth to the Lady Rattler scorers.

From CSU:

A 2012 graduate of Taft Union High School...the first player to sign an NLI and join the Roadrunners as a member of the 2012 recruiting class...a member of the Taft Union High School volleyball team that advanced to the playoffs all four seasons of her prep career, including when the Toreadors won the Division II section title her sophomore season in 2009...the Toreadors qualified for the LA City Section semifinals in 2010 and advanced all the way to the championship match in 2011 during her senior season.
