NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Florida A&M men's golf captured the team title at the TSU Big Blue Intercollegiate, finishing at +7 to top the 11-team field by three strokes over Prairie View A&M.

The Rattlers posted rounds of +2, +2 and +3 across the three-day event, delivering the most consistent team performance in the field. Prairie View A&M (+10) finished second, while Arkansas-Pine Bluff and host Tennessee State tied for third at +12.

Phalatphon Viboonviriyasakul led the way for FAMU, tying for fifth individually at 2-under par after posting rounds of even, 2-under and even. His steady three-round effort anchored a Rattler lineup that never relinquished the top spot on the leaderboard.

Emilio Garcia tied for ninth at 2-over, highlighted by a second-round 69 (-3) that ranked among the lowest rounds of the tournament. Jonathan Scott tied for 13th at 3-over, while MJ Darmawan tied for 26th at 8-over.

FAMU's depth proved to be the difference. No other program placed more than one golfer inside the top 15, while the Rattlers put three of their five scorers in the top 13.

Alabama State (+17) rounded out the top five, followed by Alabama A&M (+22). Jackson State (+82) finished last among the competing programs.

The Rattlers now turn their attention to the SWAC Championship, looking to carry their momentum into the conference's marquee event.
