TALLAHASSEE, Fla. --Matthew Perez put together a stellar performance at the plate Sunday, hitting two home runs to help propel the Florida A&M Rattlers over the Southern Jaguars 10-6.
Tanner Walker (2-0) got the win out of the bullpen for Florida A&M (7-11, 2-1). The right-hander went three shutout innings, giving up one hit, five walks and striking out two.
Perez went 4-for-5 at the plate, supplementing his two home runs with a double while driving in six runs. Justen Crews added to Perez's awesome power-hitting performance by going 1 for 3 with a home run and two RBIs along with one walk. William Brown also chipped in for the Rattlers, going 1-for-2 with a home run and an RBI.

The Rattlers scored in six different innings on the way to the win. Florida A&M took the lead for good at 7-6 in the seventh inning The Rattlers recorded two of their three runs on a two-run homer from Crews.
