MACON, Ga. (Feb. 9) | The Florida A&M softball team (0-4) concluded its season-opening weekend, collecting a 9-2 loss to the Austin Peay Governors (3-1).

The Rattlers managed seven hits in the game. Catcher Kayla Alexandre collected two hits for the Rattlers. Jamison Townsend, Kiauna Watson, Aniya Canty, Samantha Smith, and Brianna Duggins garnered the other five hits with one each.  FAMU couldn't string together the hits in concession, leading to 10 stranded baserunners.
