ATLANTA — The Florida A&M Rattlers men's basketball team will tour the College Football Hall of Fame during a team visit to downtown Atlanta.
The outing offers student-athletes a behind-the-scenes look at the legacy of college football, including interactive exhibits, historic memorabilia and stories highlighting leadership, perseverance and excellence across generations. Coaches and staff emphasized the educational value of the experience, encouraging players to draw inspiration from the standards set by those honored in the Hall of Fame.
"This was a great opportunity for our guys to see the bigger picture of college athletics," said FAMU head men's basketball coach Charlie Ward. "The Hall of Fame represents tradition, discipline and achievement—values that translate directly to how we want to compete and carry ourselves."
The visit also served as a team-building moment, allowing the Rattlers to bond away from practice while reflecting on the responsibility that comes with representing their university and community.
Florida A&M continues its preparations for the season with a focus on growth on and off the court, using experiences like the Hall of Fame tour to reinforce its commitment to student-athlete development.
